Overview
Service Care Solutions is working alongside a local authority in Doncaster, seeking an experienced Planning and Highway Legal Officer.
Compensation- Umbrella Rate: £50-£55 an hour (depending on experience)
- PAYE (Inc. Hol): £44.50-£48.89 an hour (depending on experience)
Contract basis for 3 months, with potential extension.
Responsibilities- Provide high quality and timely technical and professional advice on land and property matters to the Council, its officers and elected members.
- Handle a high caseload in Planning and Highway from start to completion.
- Deliver training and contribute to continuous legal service improvement.
- Represent the Council in appeals, judicial reviews and statutory challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Qualified Solicitor with at least 3 years PQE in Planning and Highway Law.
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied caseload.
