The Role

You will play a key role in maintaining strong supplier relationships and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. You’ll be a dependable team player who takes pride in accuracy, organisation, and delivering high standards within a finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately process and post multi-currency supplier invoices, ensuring correct coding, exchange rates, and VAT compliance
  • Assist with regular BACS and TT payment runs, ensuring supplier terms are met
  • Reconcile supplier statements to maintain clean and accurate ledgers
  • Carry out weekly stock reconciliations, resolving discrepancies promptly
  • Code credit card transactions and expenses, proactively chasing outstanding submissions to meet month-end deadlines
  • Maintain and update daily sales figures, providing management with clear visibility of business performance
  • Provide cover and support for the Credit Control function when required.

Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable role
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end finance processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience using professional accounting software.
Month-End Flexibility

We operate a fair rota system for additional hours during the month-end, with all extra time given back in lieu.
