HV Manager; V SAP

Are you a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) to 400kV?

An opportunity has arisen to act as the HV authority for large-scale, transmission-connected energy assets forming part of one of the UK’s largest BESS portfolios.

This is a transmission-level operational authority role.

You will:

• Operate as a Senior Authorised Person up to 400kV
• Own and develop HV safety rules and switching regimes
• Act as HV SME for grid interfaces, protection, and operational integrity
• Set standards that will scale across a multi-gigawatt portfolio

You will bring:

• Current or recent SAP authorisation to 400kV
• Experience writing or materially shaping HV safety rules
• Operational experience within transmission, DNO, or large-scale generation
• The credibility to challenge and uphold standards under pressure
