Mechanical Engineer

Monocon International Refractories Limited has a vacancy for a Mechanical Engineer to be based primarily in our workshop at Old Denaby Doncaster.

• Mechanical Build of general Machinery
• Input into Mechanical Design
• Pneumatic Design / Build – Panel build and machine
• Small fabrications – Welding/Burning/Drilling etc
• Machine Testing
• Installation and Commissioning

• Mechanical and Pneumatics
• Basic hydraulic and electrical knowledge would be desirable
• Transmission drive assemblies
• Structural assemblies

All equipment is manufactured and tested in the UK prior to dispatch to the customer.

Part of the role will include the installation and commissioning of machinery in the steel-plant. This will mean national and international travel. International travel would be approx. 6 weeks out of the year and each trip approx. 2 weeks duration dependent upon location.

BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC Level or equivalent.

This is an excellent opportunity for a keen Mechanical Engineer to join a well respected Engineering Division, within an internationally renowned company.

40 Hours per Work

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 – 30 Minutes Lunch

Friday 08:00 to 14:00 – No Lunch
