Apprentice Teaching Assistant — Grange Lane Infant Academy are looking to appoint an Apprentice Teaching Assistant to join our academy in February 2026 on a temporary, part-time basis.

Your new roleAs an apprentice you are encouraged to work as part of the team to gain as much practical experience as possible throughout the duration of your course. During your apprenticeship you will report to the teachers. Under supervision you will work under the direct instruction of teacher/support staff, usually in a classroom with the teacher, to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
You will study towards the NVQ Level 3 Teaching Assistant. There is an expectation you will attend all college sessions and complete assignments on time. We want to attract the best apprentices to work in Delta Academies Trust, as such we pay above the national apprenticeship pay rates for all apprentices. You dont have to wait for a year to be paid your age related National Minimum Wage, we pay this from your first day with us, but we will not pay below £9.00 per hour.
