Are you a passionate and creative Design Technology Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students and make a real impact?

A well-established secondary school in Doncaster is seeking a dedicated Design Technology Teacher to join their team on a long-term ongoing basis, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and creative lessons across the Design Technology curriculum (e.g., Product Design, Resistant Materials, Engineering, or Graphics).
Plan, prepare and assess high-quality lessons that motivate and challenge students of all abilities.
Maintain a safe and well-organised workshop environment, ensuring adherence to all health and safety regulations.
Contribute to departmental planning, assessment, and resource development.
Support the wider school community through participation in extracurricular activities or projects when required.
Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s positive behaviour policy.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Degree or specialism in a Design Technology-related subject. Recent and relevant teaching experience within a UK secondary school.
Strong classroom management skills and a proactive approach to engaging students.
A passion for creativity, practical learning, and innovation.
Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
