Are you an enthusiastic and reliable KS1 Teacher looking for a long-term role in Doncaster?
Academics are recruiting dedicated teachers for ongoing and long-term placements across a range of supportive primary schools, with the potential for permanent roles for the right candidate.
Position: KS1 Teacher
Location:
Doncaster and surrounding areas
Contract:
Full-time or part-time, long-term with potential to become permanent
Pay: £130 - £190 per day (paid via PAYE - no umbrella fees)
Start Date:
ASAP or January start dates available
About the Role
We are supporting several Doncaster primary schools looking for committed and enthusiastic KS1 Teachers to cover long-term positions across Year 1 and Year
2. These schools offer a welcoming environment, supportive leadership teams, and the opportunity for temp-to-perm progression for the right candidate.
As a KS1 Teacher, you will deliver creative and engaging lessons that support early learning, build confidence, and help children achieve key milestones across phonics, early maths, and core reading and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
* Create a positive learning environment that supports progress and wellbeing
* Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback
* Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and leadership teams
* Uphold safeguarding policies at all times
Candidate Requirements
✔ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
✔ Strong classroom management and adaptability
✔ A passion for supporting children's progress
✔ Experience teaching primary year groups
✔ Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
