Architect, Architect ​/ Sr. Architect

Conrad Consulting has partnered with a well-established, family-owned SME Architectural Practice based in Doncaster to recruit a talented Architect with approximately 3 5 years post-qualification experience to join their close-knit team of five.

The practice works primarily within the Commercial and Residential sectors, delivering projects for both private clients and building contractors across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Their portfolio includes a varied mix of new-build developments, refurbishments, and building conversions, offering the opportunity to gain experience across a wide range of project types.

This role offers the opportunity to work across all RIBA stages, allowing the successful Architect to be involved from early design and planning through to project delivery and completion. The position would suit an Architect who enjoys taking ownership of projects and working within a small, collaborative team environment.

Within this supportive and established practice, the successful candidate will contribute to design development, technical delivery, and client coordination, as well as supporting projects through planning, detailed design, and site stages. The role will also involve regular client interaction and site visits, making it ideal for someone who enjoys being involved in all aspects of project delivery.

The practice currently works with AutoCAD and Revit, and there are plans to further develop their Revit and BIM capabilities in the coming years. Experience using Revit would therefore be advantageous.

Key Requirements

• ARB registered Architect with approximately 3 5 years post-qualification experience
• Previous experience working within an architectural practice environment
• Strong design, technical, and detailing abilities
• Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and Planning processes
• Experience working across multiple RIBA stages
• Previous project experience within Commercial or Residential sectors would be beneficial
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, with Revit experience advantageous
• Strong communication and client-facing skills
• Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team environment
• Based within commuting distance of Doncaster
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

• £35,000 £ 40,000 depending on experience
• 22 days annual leave
