Architectural Technologist

Conrad Consulting has partnered with a well-established, family-owned SME Architectural Practice based in Doncaster to recruit an experienced Architectural Technologist to join their close-knit team of five.

This practice works exclusively within the Commercial and Residential sectors, delivering projects for both private clients and building contractors across Yorkshire and the Midlands. Their project portfolio includes a diverse mix of new builds, refurbishments, and building conversions.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an Architectural Technologist who enjoys being involved throughout the entire project lifecycle, with the chance to work across all RIBA stages from concept through to completion an opportunity not always available in larger practices.

Within this established and supportive environment, the successful candidate will take responsibility for managing projects from initial design through to delivery, including client liaison and site involvement. The role would suit a confident job runner who is comfortable working directly with clients and enjoys the practical, site-based aspects of project delivery.

The practice currently works primarily with AutoCAD and Revit, and there are plans to become increasingly Revit and BIM focused in the coming years. Candidates with strong Revit and BIM experience will therefore be viewed particularly favourable

Key Requirements

• Degree or HNC qualified Architectural Technologist with experience in an architectural practice environment
• Minimum 5 years industry experience
• Strong technical drawing and detailing abilities
• Good understanding of current UK Building Regulations and Planning requirements
• Proven job-running and project delivery experience
• Previous experience working within Commercial or Residential sectors
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
• Comfortable working within a small, collaborative team and taking a hands-on role
• Based within commuting distance of Doncaster
• Full UK driving licence

Salary & Benefits

• £35,000 £ 40,000 depending on experience
• 22 days annual leave
