Are you a Design or Technical Manager with strong aluminium façade experience, looking to take full ownership of the design function within a growing and well-established fabrication specialist?

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected aluminium manufacturer in a leadership role where you will oversee façade design from contract award through to approval, working closely with commercial, fabrication, and project teams to deliver compliant, high-quality systems.

In this role, you will manage a small team of subcontract designers, ensuring timely and compliant design submissions. You will review architectural drawings and specifications, liaise with commercial teams regarding budgets and variations, attend design meetings, and propose value engineering solutions where required. You will also play a key part in coordinating procurement timelines and supporting material scheduling.

This position would suit an experienced façade Design Manager or Technical Manager with at least 10 years' industry experience and a strong understanding of aluminium systems and manufacturing processes.

The Role:

• Manage and coordinate aluminium façade design projects from award stage
• Oversee subcontract designers to ensure compliant, timely submissions
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation
• Liaise with commercial teams regarding budgets and variations

The Person:

• Experience with in aluminium façade design
• Strong understanding of façade construction and manufacturing processes
• Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
