Site Manager - Civil Engineering

I'm working exclusively with a civil engineering and groundworks contractor with a number of schemes in Lincolnshire to recruit an experienced Groundworks Site Manager for a new residential development starting in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all groundworks operations on a busy new-build housing site
Manage site teams, subcontractors, and coordinate plant and material deliveries
Ensure works are completed safely, on programme, and to high-quality standards
Keep accurate records and report progress, challenges, and updates to senior management
Build strong working relationships with the client, house builder, and internal teams Requirements

Demonstrable experience managing groundworks packages on residential developments
SMSTS and CSCS are essential
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
Proven ability to manage programme, logistics, and site safety effectively
