Role Summary
Role: Semi Senior Accountant
Location: Mexborough
Salary: 26000 - 32000
This is a great opportunity to join a well established and friendly accountancy practice in Mexborough. The firm is looking to welcome a Semi Senior Accountant to support a growing client portfolio and work closely with a supportive professional team.

- Preparing statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies
- Assisting with corporation tax and personal tax computations
- Preparing VAT returns and supporting client compliance work
- Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide advice
- Supporting Senior colleagues with more complex assignments
- Ensuring accuracy, compliance and deadlines are met
- Previous UK practice experience is essential
- AAT qualified, part ACCA/ACA qualified or qualified by experience
- Good understanding of accounts preparation and tax compliance
- Confident in client communication and queries
- Proactive, organised and keen to develop within practice
