We are looking for a warehouse supervisor with strong experience within warehouse, logistics, and custom clearance. You must be positive, proactive, curious and operate well in an every changing environment. You must have a strong drive and motivation to achieve goals by both working independently and in close collaboration with others. You must possess excellent stakeholder management skills and understand how to execute in a matrix organization and with suppliers.

You must be able to remain calm under pressure and still manage to address the problems in scope.

How Do You Make An Impact

In this role you will play an important role ensuring the continuous operation of our warehouse and logistics in Qatar. You will be responsible for managing the warehouse, dispatching orders & custom clearance.

  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately in SAP and within agreed parameters
  • Receive documents of all incoming shipments and ensure compliance of these for efficient custom clearance
  • Manage the custom clearing process in collaboration with our internal team and 3rd party logistics provider and address any issues to ensure the deliveries are cleared through customs.
  • Handle the administrative process of quality complaints and coordinate review of batches under investigation of quality issues in the warehouse.
  • Coordinate with 3PL and co-packaging supplier to manage monthly promotion items to ensure timely delivery back to warehouse for distribution including validation of invoicing.
  • Close stakeholder management with our 3rd party logistics provider and be able to drive continuous improvement regarding performance, health, safety and compliance
  • Managing the creation process of new or promo items in including fixed and temporary pricing in SAP. Support on necessary document to apply for ministry approval for new production, promotions or price increases.
  • Managing POSM materials and upkeep of in-store chillers in collaboration with 3PL maintenance team, to keep them operational
  • Handling of ad hoc issues related to the warehouse, dispatching of items, co-packing, and updating master data in SAP.
  • Monitoring of the inventory levels, market returns, damaged products and continuously ensure updated inventory status.
  • Handling the disposal of expired goods & assessing damaged products to identify if it can be sold or must be disposed.
  • Informs manager of any issues as they arise within timely manner.
  • Works as an integral member of the team sharing both information and workload, and remain flexible with regards to tasks done on a daily basis.
  • Embraces a healthy, inclusive, safe working environment and quality/food safety in own area of responsibility.
  • Contributes to the execution of local business plan within own area.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with custom clearance & warehousing
  • Language high proficiency in English. Arabic is an advantage, but not necessary.
  • Experience of working with SAP
  • Advanced user of excel and knowledge of BI tools is an advantage
