Job Description Key Responsibilities
1. Operations & Activity Management

  • Supervise day-to-day operations of the recreation department including pool, gym, kids club, sports areas, and activity programs.
  • Coordinate and execute daily activity schedules, special events, and guest engagement programs.
  • Ensure all facilities are clean, organized, and ready for guest use.
  • Monitor attendance, ensure proper staffing levels, and adjust schedules as needed.
2. Guest Service
  • Provide excellent service, ensuring guests feel welcomed, informed, and supported.
  • Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
  • Promote recreation programs, services, and special events to enhance guest experience.
3. Staff Supervision & Training
  • Lead, coach, and motivate recreation team members to deliver high service standards.
  • Conduct regular trainings on safety, equipment use, SOPs, and customer service.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide constructive feedback.
  • Assist in hiring and onboarding of new recreation team members.
4. Safety & Compliance
  • Ensure all recreation areas meet health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Conduct routine inspections of pools, gym equipment, sports areas, and kids’ facilities.
  • Maintain accurate incident reports and ensure all safety guidelines are followed.
  • Enforce hotel policies, lifeguard protocols (if applicable), and emergency procedures.
5. Administration & Reporting
  • Maintain activity attendance records, inventory logs, and maintenance checklists.
  • Manage equipment requests, stock levels, and coordinate repairs.
  • Contribute to departmental budgets and cost-control efforts.
  • Prepare daily or weekly operational reports for the Rooms Division Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Minimum 2–3 years experience in recreation, hospitality, or leisure operations.
  • Supervisory or team leader experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of recreational programming, fitness activities, and safety protocols
