Mechanical Technician - Rotary; Diesel Engine

To carry out maintenance, repair, andoverhauling of diesel engines and associated rotary equipment during routineoperations and plant turnaround activities, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform complete dismantling, inspection, troubleshooting,repair, and overhauling of diesel engines, pumps, and turbo machinery .
• Carry out alignment, assembly, installation, and commissioning of diesel-driven rotary equipment.
• Conduct test runs and performance checks after maintenance toensure proper functioning.
• Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities in refinery and chemical plant environments.
• Perform minor and routine maintenance of associated static equipment as required.
• Interpret technical drawings, maintenance manuals, and equipment specifications.
• Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, permit-to-work systems,and company safety standards at all times.
• Support shutdown and turnaround activities within scheduledtimelines.

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Petrochemical or Oil& Gas industry.
• Proven experience in Refinery / Chemical Plant Turnaround projects.
• Good understanding of mechanical seals, bearings, couplings,lubrication systems, and alignment techniques.
• Ability to work independently and within a team under sitesupervision.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
