a) Scaffolding Inspector experience - 10 Years, at least 5years in Oil & Gas sector (As Inspector – 4 Yrs, Supervisor – 2 Yrs & 4 Yrs in Scaff craft).
b) Scaffolding Inspector shall have the CISRS inspector course certificate or CISRS affiliates and internationally recognized statutory bodies such as C.I.T.B., SIMIAN SKILL, NASC or AECOR.
- Complex Inspection:Inspecting intricate scaffold structures, including cantilevered scaffolds, suspended scaffolding, birdcage scaffolds, and mast climbers.
- Regulatory Compliance:Ensuring structures comply with relevant safety regulations (e.g., Work at Height Regulations 2005).
- Design Interpretation:Interpreting complex, engineered, and bespoke design drawings to ensure the structure is built according to the design.
- Safety Documentation:Completing detailed, written inspection reports and signing off on Scafftags.
- Hazard Identification:Identifying structural faults, potential hazards, and issues with ties or loading.
- System Knowledge:Deep understanding of TG20 (tube & fitting) and SG4 (fall prevention) guidelines.
c) Educational qualifications: Preferably Diploma in Civil or Mechanical even any degree accepted if technically sound.
d) Scaffolding Inspector must be able to interpret engineering drawings and have a sound Depth knowledge of Oil and Gas industrial plant safety.
e) Scaffolding Inspector must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of Scaffolding codes of practices and relevant British standards.
f) Shall be certified medically fit for scaffolding Works and Work at height.
