Lifting Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day lifting and rigging operations on the job site.
• Coordinate with the Lifting Supervisor to understand lift plans and work schedules.
• Ensure rigging crew members are trained competent and working safely.
• Inspect lifting gear (slings, shackles, hooks, etc.) before use to ensure it is certified and in good condition.
• Conduct pre-lift checks and ensure proper load securing and balance.
• Monitor weather and site conditions to assess lifting safety.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, site rules, and industry best practices.
• Report any hazards, incidents or equipment failures immediately to the Lifting Supervisor or Safety Officer.

• Proven experience as a Lifting Foreman, Rigger Foreman or in a similar supervisory role.
• Certification in rigging/lifting operations (e.g. Rigger Level 1/2 or equivalent based on region).
• Sound knowledge of lifting equipment rigging methods and hand signals.
• Minimum 03 - 04 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Diploma / ITI in Electrical or Electronics, or Instrument is preferred. Certifications or equivalent.
• Should be locally available in Qatar with a Valid QID.
• Should be able to join immediately.
