Pool Technician Salwa

Responsibilities

A Pool Technician is responsible for maintaining pools and water features in pristine condition, fulfilling any duties assigned by Engineering management.

Inspects and performs maintenance tasks daily to ensure all pools and spas are clear in appearance and proper water balance is maintained.

Checks all equipment components for proper operation, identifying items needing repair.

Maintains detailed English-language logs and inspection records.

Maintains pool inventory of supplies, prepares purchase requisitions, and ensures approvals from department managers.

Performs supportive functions as directed by supervisor, including:

• Maintaining swimming pool water clarity at best conditions.
• Cleansing and maintaining water feature components.
• Applying preventive maintenance program for equipment and machinery, adding chemicals as instructed.
• Conducting daily pool balance analysis and recording results in operational log sheets.
• Maintaining swimming pool interior lights and performing minor electrical maintenance of pump stations.

Experience using basic hand and power tools; ability to stoop, kneel, grasp, lift, push, and pull weights up to 80 lb; climb ladders up to 40 ft and reach overhead.

High‑school diploma or equivalent experience providing the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Basic experience in maintenance trades including electrical, plumbing, and mechanical. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification required;
First Aid Training preferred.

Ability to obtain Certified Pool Operator license. Hold any government‑required license or certification and/or First Aid training, and any licenses or permits required by law or company regulations.
