- The Driller is responsible for supervising and carrying out the drilling and well control and other work in connection with the drilling operations.
- The Driller oversees safe operation of the drilling control system; draw works; pipe handling systems; mud circulating systems; and Blow-out prevention (BOP) equipment in accordance with the requirements specified in the operating procedures.
- The Driller oversees the drill crew and ensures the safe completion of all operations on the drill floor including daily preventative maintenance of all equipment.
- Supervises, coordinates, trains, evaluates the performance of the drill crew.
- Valid Well Control Certificate at Driller Level issued by IWCF
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience working as a driller
- Valid BOSIET (OPITO approved) or equivalent certificate
- Valid OGUK Medical
- Valid IWCF Level 3 Well Control Certification
