Overview
Provide OM&R for HVAC/R systems and base wide. OM&R includes regular inspection, operational testing, balancing, troubleshooting and repair of HVAC/R systems such as and not limited to:
Chillers, air handlers, compressors, chilled water pumps, valve actuators, electronic dampers, water and air temperature sensors, water flow switches, air differential pressure switches, fan coil units, packaged air conditioners, Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC) units, and direct digital controls (DDC).

- Assist HVAC Technicians with Preventative Maintenance and repairs to HVAC Systems and associated components IAW manufacturer’s specifications and applicable codes and regulations.
- Possess knowledge of chemical water treatment program for all closed‑loop HVAC systems, such as in a chilled water system.
- Operate a comprehensive Refrigerant Recovery Program to ensure proper handling, containment, and management of refrigerants in compliance with all relevant environmental regulations and best practices.
- Provide written reports after completion of all inspections, maintenance, repairs, tests, and certifications of each system or component.
- Follow a comprehensive quality and safety program in compliance with Vectrus, OSHA and United States Air Force (USAF) requirements.
- Follow a comprehensive, flexible, and properly documented training program.
- Maintain a safe, clean, sanitary, healthy, presentable, professional atmosphere, free of dust, clutter and trash in all working facilities and areas.
- Safeguard all government and contractor provided property (e.g., government facilities, equipment, and tools).
- Execute company time reporting procedures and accurately complete timesheet.

Certifications:
One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. - High School Diploma required.
- Provide documentation proving attendance of in-residence training for HVAC/R systems.
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (Core, small appliances (Type I), high-pressure appliances (Type II), low-pressure appliances (Type III)) required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience specializing in industrial chilled water systems; communicate clearly and effectively during instruction.
- Knowledge of Computer Room Air-conditioning Systems (CRAC).
- U.S. Citizen with a current, valid U.S. Passport.
- Valid U.S. SECRET Security Clearance prior to deployment.
- Valid U.S. Driver’s License and ability to drive a manual transmission.
- English speaking ability.
- Pass flight line access test and obtain flight line access badge.
- Pass employment and deployment qualification requirements including psychological, medical, dental, drug testing, background checks, etc.
- Complete both online and hands‑on CBRN defense training; successful fit test of DoD provided protective gear.
- Minimum three years of experience in operations, maintenance, and repair of HVAC units.
- Excellent understanding of all safety directives and policies regarding the operation of equipment.
