Overview

The client is a leading global player in the Hydrocarbon and EPC sectors

We are seeking an experienced Head – QA/QC (Doha - Qatar) to lead Quality Assurance & Inspection activities for large offshore EPC projects. The role demands strong technical leadership, deep offshore quality expertise, and the ability to manage large multidisciplinary teams while ensuring compliance with international standards.

• Lead and manage QA/QC & Inspection functions for offshore EPC projects
• Ensure adherence to quality benchmarks and offshore industry standards
• Monitor project performance with respect to QA/QC parameters
• Mentor and train engineers on metallurgy, inspection procedures, and hydrocarbon project quality requirements
• Drive audits, NDT activities, and coordination with certification agencies
• Support SBUs in achieving project quality, timelines, and budget goals
• Handle departmental administration and stakeholder coordination

• Indirect reports: ~125

• B.E. /
  
  B.Tech – Mechanical Engineering (Preferred)

• Strong experience in Offshore QA/QC & Inspection for EPC projects
• Deep knowledge of offshore platforms, codes & specifications
• Expertise in auditing, NDT, vendor management, and quality systems
• Ability to identify quality risks (“hot spots”) and take proactive action
• Excellent leadership, communication, and people-management skills
• High integrity with strong customer and stakeholder orientation
