Junior Aircraft Standards Inspector
About the role
As the Junior Aircraft Standards Inspector, you will be assisting the Aircraft Standards Inspector and ensure that all Aircraft Interior inspection requirements are met as per company‑laid down procedures. You’ll have to ensure that the appearance of Aircraft Interior is captured and reported as per the checklist and is duly uploaded correctly and maintained for the management’s review.
Responsibilities- Audit aircraft during layover and transit as per aircraft standards checklist in accordance with Product Development and Design department guidelines mentioned in the manual.
- Cleanliness standards set are maintained all across our fleet per the current terms and conditions laid down by QR product development and design and all tasks are performed in accordance with contractual agreements/SLA’s.
- All work records are logged using the iPads and downloaded/entered for future retrieval in the system as per the guidelines set. Assist the inspector in monitoring the day‑to‑day inspection activities and updating the reports correctly without any corrections and uploading it.
- Spot check the interior cleaning of aircraft cabins during turn‑around/long ground time/layovers for periodic scheduled maintenance, cleaning plus detailing works being accomplished, by liaising with the inspector.
- Check subsidiaries QAS, QACC staff deployed in aircraft are on time and carrying out the required work as per agreements in liaison with the inspectors and tally with the department checklist and report any anomaly noticed by way of tooling’s, process, output etc.
- Perform other department related duties as directed by Line Manager or Head of Department.

About youA successful candidate should possess the following experience and qualifications:
- Diploma, or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a role involving aircraft interiors or Five‑Star properties exposure in housekeeping line.
- Familiarity with Aircraft Interiors and ability to read and understand SOP.
- Sound knowledge of cleanliness and processes relating to aircraft interior cleaning/public areas, room cleaning process/building façade cleaning and workflow.
- Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset with ability to identify issues early and implement solutions independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to influence and collaborate effectively across cross‑functional teams and external partners.
