Material Control Technician

Job Location: Al Sailiya, Qatar

Industry: Construction

Contract Duration: 3 Months (Extendable)

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in material control / inventory management

• Construction industry experience is mandatory

• Applicant must be locally available in Qatar

• Must hold a valid Freelance Visa

• Perform material control, stock management, and inventory control activities

• Control, issue, and manage bench stock materials

• Obtain materials required for equipment modification, periodic component replacement, and Bill of Materials (BOM) support

• Maintain and coordinate storage methods and warehouse control
  , including receipt, issue, and disposal of materials

• Apply proper material handling and storage techniques

• Perform item-wise and monetary accounting of inventory

• Compute material requirements, determine allowances, and identify supply and equipment needs

• Carry out inspection, identification, receipt, and storage of materials

• Conduct regular physical inventories and ensure accuracy of stock records

• Ensure facility safety, security, and compliance with site procedures

• Operate automated systems, material handling equipment
  , and authorized vehicles as required

• Strong knowledge of inventory systems and warehouse operations

• Good coordination and record-keeping skills

• Familiar with construction site material procedures

• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and reporting
