Field Coordinator

Field Coordinator - JD

• Serve as the main field contact for the contractors executing a particular scope of work such as furnaces, piping, exchangers, towers & vessels etc. Expectation is that approximately 80% of each shift will be spent in the field performing the following key duties:
  • Monitor work to ensure compliance with CLIENT HS&E and quality standards.
  • Assist to resolve the logistical and other resource challenges that often arise during TA execution.
  • Support the contractor and CLIENT TA teams with tracking progress and making real‑time adjustments as required.
  • Assist in communications with other CLIENT disciplines involved in the TA such as Operations, Process, Inspection etc.
  • Assist with the planning, approval and prioritization of additional work that is discovered during the TA.
  • Escalate any challenges that you are unable to resolve on your own to the Plant Coordinator for assistance.
  • Keep the Plant Coordinator informed of any key items that are not going as planned.
  • Compile a report outlining the progress during your shift and communicate focus items for the following shift.

• Ensure work in your area is planned and executed safely. Involve yourself in the contractor plans.
• Attend one of the contractors toolbox safety meetings at the beginning of each shift.
• Understand CLIENT Life Saving Rules and coordinate activities accordingly – focus on working at heights, valid work permits, not working under suspended loads and line of fire.
• Establish relationship and lines of communication with CLIENT Safety Rep and CLIENT Operators in your area.
• Ensure that all waste (hazardous and non‑hazardous) is properly handled and disposed of.
• Maintain expectation of good housekeeping throughout.
