AutoCAD Draftsman

We are seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsman with experience in metal and stainless steel fabrication to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing detailed fabrication and installation drawings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design specifications.

• • Prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings for stainless steel and mild steel structures, furniture, handrills, cladding, tanks, kitchen cabinets and other custom metal works.
• • Coordinate with engineers, production, and site teams to ensure drawing accuracy and feasibility.
• • Develop shop drawings and assembly drawings based on design concepts, technical, specifications and site measurements.
• • Prepare as built drawings after project completion to reflect any site modifications.
• • Take accurate field measurements and dimensions from customer templates, samples and existing site structures
• • Create cutting templates, bending developments, and nesting layouts for laser cutting, waterjet, punching and bending machines.
• • Generate DXF files or machine ready programs for CNC, laser, or waterjet cutting operations.
• • Modify and update drawings as per site measurements or client revisions.
• • Ensure drawings comply with company standards and project specifications.
• • Maintain drawing files, revisions, and documentation for all projects.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in metal/stainless steel fabrication industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and MS Office.
• Knowledge of fabrication methods, welding symbols, and material types (SS, MS, Aluminum).
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and site measurements accurately.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Preferably with experience with architectural metal works, handrails, cladding, doors, and kitchen equipment fabrication.
• Basic knowledge of CNC and laser cutting file preparation.
