Conventional Lathe Machinist

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional (manual) lathes to machine metal parts according to engineering drawings and specifications.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Select and set up the appropriate tools, materials, and lathe settings.
• Maintain and lubricate lathes and tools to ensure proper operation.
• Identify and correct any machining issues or defects in a timely manner.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and deadlines.

• Experience:
  
  3–5 years of hands‑on experience in the field.
• Proven experience as a machinist or metalworker, specifically with conventional lathes.
• Strong understanding of machining techniques, materials, and precision measurement.
• Candidates must hold a valid Qatar .
