The Alternate Site Manager (ASM) is a key personnel position under the AFCAP V contract, serving as the designated authority to act in the extended absence of the Site Manager. The ASM ensures continuity of operations and carries full authority to manage daily contract operations in alignment with the PWS and contract requirements.
This position is contingent upon contract award.

Responsibilities- Oversee airfield operations in the absence of the Site Manager with full delegated authority.
- Maintain supervision of personnel, scheduling, and execution of work to meet contractual requirements.
- Monitor all transient aircraft ramp activities at all times.
- Attend meetings, briefings and participate in exercises involving transient aircraft as requested by EMXS/EMXF Production Superintendent through the COR and ACO.
- Ensure quality control standards are upheld across all tasks and deliverables.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the ACO, COR, and Government personnel in the Site Manager’s absence, with the ability to meet on-site within 4 hours as required.
- Provide regular updates on site activities to Site Manager, Program Manager, and Government representatives as needed.
- Support continuity of leadership and operational stability during transitions.
- Must have a minimum of six (6) years experience with airfield operations.
- Familiarity with applicable DOD, FAA, and ICAO regulations and procedures necessary to support the safe conduct of flight operations is also required.
- Prior experience in site management, operations supervision, or similar leadership roles in a government contracting environment.
- Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
- Must be able to multitask in high‑stress situations.
- Excellent communication skills for interaction with Government and contractor personnel.
- Ability to quickly assume leadership and decision‑making responsibilities when required.
- Candidates must be able to obtain an airfield driver permit and must have normal color vision.
- Secret Clearance.
