a) Scaffolding Supervisor experience – 10 Years of which 5 years in Oil & gas sector (As supervisor – 5 yrs, 2 years as foreman & 3 yrs as scaffolder)
b) Scaffolding Supervisor shall have the CISRS supervisor course certificate or CISRS affiliates and internationally recognized statutory bodies such as C.I.T.B., SIMIAN SKILL, NASC or AECOR.
c) Educational qualifications: Preferably Diploma in Civil or Mechanical even any degree accepted if technically sound.
d) Scaffolding Supervisor must be able to define scaffolding with correct load rating and types suitable for its intended use, when required raise request for design drawings,
e) Able to interpret engineering drawings and have a sound knowledge of oil & gas industrial plant safety.
f) Scaffolding Supervisor must have a fairly good knowledge & understanding of Scaffolding codes of practices and relevant British standards.
g) Scaffolding Supervisor must be able to communicate and understand English.
h) Scaffolding Supervisor must be capable of organizing Work to be carried out and coordinating with Site Manager, COMPANY Focal Point and end users.
i) Scaffolding Supervisor shall be certified medically fit for Scaffolding Work and work at heights.
Skills- Good knowledge in scaffolding works.
- Knowledgeable in International Safety and Health Standards.
- Knowledge in operations of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Good Communication skills in English.
- Ability to work quickly and under pressure.
- Ability to manage a varied workload.
- Ability to identify problems and determine appropriate maintenance and equipment selection.
- Results Oriented and having the ability to organize and prioritize to meet deadlines.
- Ability to motivate, train and develop staff from different backgrounds.
