Job Summary

The incumbent’s goal is to coordinate and manage the complete accident repair process for buses, ensuring efficient, timely, and cost‑effective restoration while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. The role oversees repair operations, liaises with insurance companies and suppliers, and ensures all work meets Mowasalat and OEM requirements.

Main Responsibilities Accident Repair Management
  • Coordinate comprehensive damage assessments and repair estimations based on urgency and complexity.
  • Manage the full accident repair workflow, ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
  • Optimize bodyshop productivity to meet vehicle release deadlines and minimize fleet downtime.
Quality and Compliance
  • Conduct thorough quality inspections in line with OEM guidelines and Mowasalat standards.
  • Ensure strict regulatory compliance and maintain audit‑ready documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records of assessments, repairs, inspections, and approvals.
Supplier, Insurance & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with insurance companies to streamline claims processing and avoid delays.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams for efficient repair execution.
  • Provide transparent and timely updates to all internal and external stakeholders.
Team Leadership and Development
  • Lead, guide, and develop the Bodyshop team to meet daily operational targets.
  • Coordinate closely with Technical and Parts teams to ensure seamless workflow.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with company policies.
Operational Excellence
  • Plan, delegate, and monitor daily Bodyshop activities for optimal resource utilization.
  • Streamline processes to reduce off‑road time and support bus availability targets.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across repair and maintenance operations.
Qualifications, Certificates & Skills Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accident repair management or a similar field.
  • At least 1 year in a supervisory or team‑lead role.
Certifications
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE)
  • I‑CAR Certification
  • Estimating & Repair Planning Certification
