Responsibilities

Our newest opportunity is for a talented Director - Project Controls to join our PMCM Division based in Doha, Qatar
. This position is responsible for establishing, managing and continuously improving KEO's project controls framework across GCC-based projects. This core-office position ensures the effective planning, scheduling, resourcing, progress monitoring, reporting, and document control of multi-disciplinary consultancy projects.

The role provides strategic oversight and governance to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within approved schedules, and in alignment with contractual, corporate, and client requirements. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to project directors and senior leadership, supporting informed decision-making through accurate data, forecasting, and performance analysis.

We envisage success in this role to include;

  • Establish and maintain corporate standards, procedures, and best practices for project planning and scheduling across all projects.

  • Provide strategic oversight of project baseline schedules, ensuring alignment with contracts, scopes, and milestones.

  • Review, validate, and approve project schedules, recovery plans, and revised programs.

  • Ensure integration of schedules across disciplines, phases, and stakeholders.

  • Monitor schedule performance, identify critical path risks, and drive mitigation strategies in collaboration with project teams.

  • Oversee project performance measurement systems, including progress tracking, earned value management, and KPI reporting.

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of executive dashboards, monthly reports, and schedule risk assessments.

  • Analyze trends, variances, and forecast impacts on project timelines and advise leadership on corrective actions.

  • Support senior management with data-driven insights for strategic planning and decision-making.

  • Lead the development and management of resource planning and forecasting across all projects in GCC.

  • Ensure optimal allocation of personnel in line with project requirements, skills, availability, and workload.

  • Work closely with HR, Operations, and Project Directors to address resource gaps, mobilization planning, and recruitment forecasting.

  • Monitor utilization rates and proactively manage capacity planning to support business objectives.

  • Support succession planning and development of project controls talent within the organization.

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include minimum 15 years work experience partnered with a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or related discipline.

Chartered status or Professional Membership will be viewed favourably.
