Position: Learning Experience Manager

About the role

You will be responsible to lead the design, delivery and continuous improvement of innovative and impactful learning experiences across Qatar Airways Group while maximizing the learning tech stack. This role is also responsible to lead the Learning Administration and Project teams, ensuring that the learning initiatives are learner‑centric, scalable, and aligned with business priorities. Lead the QRG Learning Community of Practice to ensure alignment between the various training units of the QRG for training design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define and implement a learner‑centric strategy that aligns with Qatar Airways’ business goals by collaborating with senior stakeholders to translate organizational priorities into impactful programs, ensuring workforce capability development and strategic transformation.
  • Set strategic direction for learning operations including scheduling, logistics, and learner support by implementing scalable processes and digital tools, ensuring seamless delivery that reflects Qatar Airways’ service excellence standards.
  • Promote innovation in learning experience design by integrating emerging technologies and methodologies through partnerships with internal teams and external vendors, ensuring future‑proofed delivery and enhanced learner engagement.
  • Oversee the learning portfolio through PMO governance frameworks by establishing prioritization criteria, reporting mechanisms, and review cycles, ensuring transparency, accountability, and strategic alignment across all learning initiatives.
  • Lead vendor and partner management for learning services by establishing selection criteria, performance metrics, and relationship protocols, ensuring quality, compliance, and value from external providers.
  • Optimize the use of learning resources such as LXP, LMS, Udemy, HMM Spark, etc., through change management and various approaches to provide comprehensive and accessible learning opportunities for all employees and increased adoption rates.
  • Manage learning‑related contracts and service agreements by collaborating with legal and procurement teams to negotiate terms and monitor compliance, ensuring risk mitigation and operational continuity.
  • Oversee the learning budget and resource allocation by forecasting needs, tracking expenditures, and optimizing investments, ensuring financial stewardship and maximum ROI for learning initiatives.
  • Drive implementation of learning technologies and platforms by evaluating solutions, coordinating deployment, and ensuring user adoption, enabling scalable, data‑driven, and accessible learning experiences.
  • Oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of learning programs by coordinating with instructional designers, facilitators, and business units to ensure timely execution, so that learners receive high‑quality, relevant, and impactful development experiences.
  • Lead and develop the Learning Administration and PMO teams by setting clear objectives, monitoring performance, and fostering continuous growth, to build high‑performing teams that consistently deliver operational excellence.
  • Lead change management activities to support the adoption of new learning technologies and processes, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure data‑driven decision making across learning operations by leveraging analytics dashboards and performance metrics to guide improvements, enabling evidence‑based enhancements and demonstrating program effectiveness.
  • Maintain compliance and uphold quality standards in all learning activities by conducting regular audits and implementing corrective actions, ensuring alignment with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
  • Manage day‑to‑day learning logistics and learner support services by streamlining scheduling, communications, and resource coordination, to deliver a seamless and professional learning experience that reflects Qatar Airways’ brand standards.
  • Monitor and report on project health and delivery timelines by applying PMO methodologies and tools across learning initiatives, ensuring that programs are executed on time, within scope and budget, and aligned with strategic goals.
