Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
The Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure efficient and reliable operation of equipment and systems. The role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on experience with CMMS, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel to support maintenance planning, tracking, and reporting activities for the Siemens project.
Key Responsibilities:Plan, schedule, and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Develop detailed maintenance plans, job schedules, and work orders
Utilize CMMS for work order planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting
Analyze maintenance data to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime
Prepare maintenance reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Excel
Coordinate with maintenance teams, engineers, and supervisors to ensure timely execution of work
Ensure availability of manpower, tools, materials, and spare parts before job execution
Monitor maintenance backlogs and optimize maintenance schedules
Ensure compliance with safety standards, project procedures, and client requirements
Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance planning processes
EducationalQualification:
Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
Experience Requirements:Minimum 2–5 years of experience in maintenance planning or a similar maintenance role
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas, reporting)
Strong hands-on experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
Good understanding of maintenance planning, scheduling, and asset management principles
Strong organizational, analytical, and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
