We are seeking an experienced Assistant Venue Technology Manager to support our Venue Technology Manager in overseeing all technological operations within our venue cluster. This pivotal role involves managing the complete lifecycle of technology services, from installation and maintenance to live event support. You will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless operation of all ICT, AV, and ELV systems.
The ideal candidate will provide real-time technical support during events, supervise system installations, and manage IT assets. This position requires a proactive problem‑solver dedicated to maintaining robust and efficient technological infrastructure for daily operations and high‑profile events, ensuring a flawless experience for all clients and guests.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in ICT and AV/ELV system implementation, maintenance, and support.
- Specific experience working within sports venues or for large‑scale event productions is required.
- Demonstrated expertise with core venue technologies including CCTV, Access Control, turnstiles, Public Address (PA) systems, and IPTV.
- Proven experience in providing real‑time technical support and troubleshooting during live events.
- Experience supervising the physical installation of AV/ELV systems and temporary event overlay technologies.
- Strong understanding of IT management principles, preferably within a venue or hospitality environment.
- Proficiency with project management methodologies and tools for overseeing technical installations and deployments.
- Professional certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
- Experience with broadcasting and TV infrastructure.
- Strong Leadership Capabilities And Experience Supervising Technical Teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience acting as a technical point of contact for clients.
- Experience with IT asset management and tracking within a large facility.
