Nair Systems is seeking a highly experienced Senior IT Project Manager specializing in Transaction Banking to lead critical banking technology initiatives. This role is essential in modernizing digital platforms, managing key migration programs, and ensuring seamless delivery of complex, high-impact banking projects.

As a Senior IT Project Manager, you will oversee strategic projects within the Transaction Banking domain, driving major digital application upgrades and legacy-to-modern platform migrations. You will work closely with business, technology, and vendor teams to ensure smooth execution of corporate banking and transaction-related transformations. The role demands deep domain expertise, hands‑on technical project leadership, and the ability to manage multiple large-scale initiatives concurrently.

You will play a key role in enhancing digital banking capabilities, improving customer transaction flows, and supporting the modernization of enterprise banking systems. This is a high-visibility position ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, delivery-focused banking environments.

• ✓ Lead and manage end-to-end Transaction Banking IT projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
• ✓ Oversee major digital application upgrades and modernization initiatives
• ✓ Drive migration projects from legacy platforms to next-generation technologies (e.g., OBDX)
• ✓ Collaborate with business teams to understand corporate transaction requirements and translate them into technical project plans
• ✓ Manage cross-functional stakeholders, vendors, and implementation partners
• ✓ Ensure compliance with banking standards, security requirements, and change management processes
• ✓ Report project milestones, risks, and progress to senior leadership

• ✓ 8–10 years of IT Project Management experience in the Banking domain
• ✓ Strong hands-on expertise in Transaction Banking
• ✓ Proven experience with major digital application upgrades
• ✓ Solid background in migration projects from legacy systems to modern platforms
• ✓ Deep understanding of corporate transactions and banking workflows
• ✓ Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• ✓ Experience in Cards & Payments is an added advantage

• ✓ Familiarity with Oracle Banking Digital Experience (OBDX)
• ✓ Experience leading multi-country or large enterprise banking projects
• ✓ Knowledge of payment gateways, ISO standards, and transaction processing
• ✓ Exposure to agile delivery environments
• ✓ Certification in PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile methodologies
