Responsibilities
- Derive smart city system product requirements specifications through detailed business analysis and product studies.
- Work with stakeholders to assess current operations and needs to derive system requirements specifications.
- Able to communicate well with stakeholders, development teams and test/quality assurance team.
- Analyze stakeholders’ (Product Owner, users, clients) needs and business needs to derive development requirements specification and work packages for development team.
- Uncovering, capturing and prioritizing requirements as Epics, user journey and stories into a master story list
- Build rapid UI/UX prototypes with team to validate requirements with stakeholders
- Work with development team to do system analysis during design
- Build narratives and acceptance criteria for the highest priority stories in upcoming iterations/sprints
- Validate the acceptance tests
- Progressively sign off completed requirements with users
- Provide continual feedback to the development team and programme management team
- Work closely with Product Owners and be Product Owner proxy to ensure all features meets user needs and product requirements
Skills:
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in business analysis and/or software product management, especially in the smart city domain will be an added advantage
- Experience in municipal operations, real estate property operations and/or building management will be an added advantage.
- Experience with using UI prototyping tools to build web based and smartphone based prototypes to conduct UX validation with users, or had worked with UX engineers to design prototypes
- Degree or Diploma in User Experience, Game Design, Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related disciplines
- Working knowledge of Scrum will be an added advantage.
- Working knowledge of design thinking and workshop facilitation will be an added advantage
- Strong analytical, conceptualization and problem solving skills
- Ability to take a broad, strategic perspective as well as drill deep to understand business needs and challenges
