Head of Tech Role Overview
The Head of Tech is responsible for defining, governing, and delivering the institution's enterprise-wide digital strategy across core banking platforms, customer-facing applications, investment and wealth management systems, and digital data infrastructure
. The role has full accountability for end-to-end digital delivery
, including programme and project management, ensuring that complex initiatives are executed on time, on budget, and in line with strategic, regulatory, and commercial objectives.
The role partners closely with executive management, investment leadership, and control functions to ensure that digital transformation initiatives are prioritised, governed, and delivered with strong execution discipline

- Ensure disciplined delivery using appropriate methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), tailored to regulatory and business requirements.
- Track benefits realisation, milestones, dependencies, and execution risks across all digital programmes.
