IT PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in information technology, Engineering and or Business degree, or diploma with relevant courses in supply chain and procurement.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT procurement or a similar role.
• Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) is preferred.
• Experience in the oil and gas industry, particularly in IT procurement.
• Experience in managing vendor relationships and negotiating contracts.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and best practices.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of procurement practices, contract management, and supply chain process.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Knowledge of IT equipment, software, and services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and systems.
• Knowledge of contract management and vendor relationship management.
• In-depth knowledge of IT procurement processes and best practices.
