Any Job Type: Full-Time Job Overview The SAP Application Support Specialist will handle the functional and technical stability of SAP environments, ensuring seamless performance across modules like FI, MM, SD, and HCM. You’ll work closely with IT teams, vendors, and business users to resolve issues, enhance processes, and support new project initiatives. Arabic fluency is mandatory for this client-facing position in Qatar.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver expert-level support for core SAP modules (FI, MM, SD, HCM) Troubleshoot functional and technical SAP issues promptly Apply patches, updates, and ensure system security and performance Customize and integrate SAP with enterprise systems Engage with business users to gather and translate functional needs Conduct end-user training, develop user guides, and offer daily support Track and support SAP-related projects with clear reporting and execution Collaborate with IT developers, consultants, and vendors for issue resolution Ensure all SAP configurations comply with tax laws and internal audit policies Support additional IT systems and applications as needed
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of SAP application support in enterprise environments
Experience with SAP implementation or upgrade projects is a plus
Skills:
Arabic fluency (spoken and written) is mandatory Strong technical knowledge in FI, MM, SD, HCM modules Experience in ABAP debugging and SAP Basis support Familiarity with IDocs, RFCs, and API-based integrations Ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders SAP certifications are preferred
