Job Summary
- Oversee the design, implementation, management, and optimization of all technology-related activities within the venue.
- Manage venue technology projects from concept to production.
- Prepare formal project documentation and artifacts.
- Coordinate project execution with vendors and project management team.
- Develop integrated project plans and document functional and technical specifications for project deliverables.
- Support operations and customers in defining project scope, expectations, and requirements.
- Monitor contract performance and maintain client satisfaction during project execution and delivery.
- Manage risk mitigation, costing, and planning for venue technology projects.
- Develop strategies and architect systems.
- Verify, maintain, and monitor the functionality of venue technology systems.
- Validate the installation and operation of AV/ELV according to standards and best practices.
- Ensure proper organization and documentation of all projects.
- Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.
- Manage and report on activities for all venue technology projects.
- Provide updates to senior management.
- Coordinate service level meetings with vendors and external parties.
- Manage the efforts of the venue technology delivery team to ensure requirements are met and designs are compatible.
- Provide direction to subordinates based on project objectives.
- Hold other responsibilities as directed by the direct supervisor.
- More than 15 years of relevant experience in the field, preferably in consulting with multiple clients and business domains.
- 10 years' experience in designing, implementing, and managing venue/stadium-based technology for SMART stadium, venues, and mega-events.
- Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications in project management.
- Experience with large-scale ICT AV/ELV projects in sports venues or similar environments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in reading and creating technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
