Lead - Sr. Windows and Cloud System Administration Job Overview We are looking for an experienced Windows and Cloud System Administration Lead to oversee secure, efficient, and reliable operations of Windows-based and cloud infrastructure environments. The ideal candidate will bring over 10 years of expertise in managing Windows servers, virtualization platforms (VMware/Hyper-V), Azure cloud services, and Microsoft 365. This role also involves mentoring junior team members, implementing best practices, and ensuring robust disaster recovery and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the installation, configuration, hardening, and administration of Windows Server environments Manage hybrid environments across on-premises infrastructure and Azure cloud Oversee VMware vSphere and Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platforms Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online and Admin Center Monitor and optimize storage and backup systems for high performance and availability Implement cloud VMs, storage, networking, and enforce cloud security protocols Develop and maintain DR (Disaster Recovery) and business continuity plans Conduct performance monitoring, root cause analysis, and proactive issue resolution Lead technical troubleshooting, log documentation, and incident management Implement and enforce IT security standards, patching, and compliance protocols Mentor junior administrators and coordinate with cross-functional IT teams Required Skills and Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering Certifications (must have):
RHCSA (Red Hat Certified System Administrator) MCSA (Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate) Azure Administrator Associate VMware VCP-DCV ITIL Foundation V3 or V4
Experience:
10+ years in Windows/Linux infrastructure on VMware and cloud platforms Hands-on with Windows/RHEL administration, VMware, and Azure cloud
Experience with storage, SAN, backup tools, and security measures Strong scripting skills in Power Shell for automation Familiarity with ITSM tools and enterprise infrastructure operations
