Job Summary
The Grand Lux Hotel is looking for a Laundry Coordinator to join our Housekeeping team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating daily laundry operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, fabric care, and linen management.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily laundry operations including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding
- Ensure proper handling and care of hotel linens and guest garments
- Coordinate closely with the Housekeeping department to ensure timely linen delivery
- Monitor linen inventory and maintain proper stock levels
- Maintain quality control standards and ensure all items meet hotel standards
- Ensure the laundry area remains clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene and safety regulations
- Knowledge of laundry operations and fabric care techniques
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience is preferred
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
