Job DescriptionThe Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is looking for an IRD Assistant Server to join our talented team! EssentialFunctions
- Greet guests by name and provide a thorough description of food and beverage items, using vivid descriptions of origins, taste, and preparation methods, and communicate options for removal of trays and dishware; respond to tray removal requests according to established time standards.
- Breakdown, clean, and set-up room service tables, condiment set-ups, flatware, dishware, and room service side stations; coordinate tray and table removal.
- Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, offer suggestions and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
- Properly and accurately close guest checks securing room number and signature; properly settle voided checks or complimentary meals.
- Take guest orders in the absence of an order taker.
- Plate and prepare small food items.
- Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Assist with service of food items.
- Assist with set-up and cleaning of operational areas.
- Assist with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in areas of Food & Beverage when needed.
- Assist to clean private bars, private bar carts and storerooms.
- Stock and replenish ice for guest rooms.
- Respect the privacy of all guest rooms.
- Keep breakage of items to a minimum.
- Report any unusual incidents, persons or items found or seen on the guest floors.
- Respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
- Assist in room dining by transporting food orders and amenities, including special needs or requests, to the guest’s room in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
- 1‑2 years of experience in a related field.
- Excellent command of English;
