Located in the former Ministry of Interior building, The Ned Doha offers seven restaurants, 90 bedrooms, event venues, and Ned’s Club, a private members’ club that gives access to spaces including a rooftop terrace, a health club with spa, gym and 30m outdoor pool.

Job Purpose

The Housekeeping Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Housekeeping Department by coordinating daily operations, ensuring effective communication between teams, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The role acts as a key link between housekeeping operations and other hotel departments to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate daily housekeeping operations and room status updates
  • Prepare, distribute, and maintain accurate housekeeping reports and schedules
  • Act as a central communication point between Housekeeping, Front Office, Engineering, and Laundry
  • Monitor task allocations and follow up on completion to ensure service standards are met
  • Assist with administrative duties including attendance records, leave tracking, and documentation
  • Handle guest requests and special requirements promptly and professionally
  • Support supervisors with inventory tracking, requisitions, and linen control
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures
  • Assist in managing last‑minute changes, priorities, and operational challenges
  • Ensure smooth coordination during high‑occupancy periods and special events
Qualifications & Competencies
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Housekeeping operations, preferably in a supervisory or coordination role
  • Previous experience as a Housekeeping Coordinator or Public Area Supervisor is an advantage
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High attention to detail with a proactive approach to problem‑solving
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required
  • Familiarity with hotel systems and reporting tools (Opera, HotSOS, or similar) is an advantage
