Job Description
- Supervise the smooth running of the outlet
- Ensure the venue opens on time and is ready for business
- Ensure excellent front of house service, allocate and support staff throughout the shift to maintain speed of service and cleanliness
- Liaise on shift with Head Chef to resolve problems and ensure great service
- Complete daily paperwork to ensure the safe running of the venue and for standards to be monitored and maintained throughout the shift
- Detailed check of deliveries for accuracy and quality of product
- Ensure stock is received and secured in cellars on delivery
- Ensure stock rotation is applied when storing deliveries and that the correct storage method is applied to each product
- Display stock levels should be monitored throughout the shift and replenished as required
- Recording any wastage
- Help coach and develop staff
- Ensure high standards of health and safety are maintained at all times
Qualifications
- Previous experience of Hospitality Service work required
- Demonstrable experience of delivering excellent customer service
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work within a team and supervise a team
- Ability to work under pressure
- High standards of honesty and integrity
- Strong personality, “thick-skinned” and able to deal calmly and confidently with a diverse range of customers
- Hard working and reliable, with a strong work ethic
- Good personal hygiene
- Arabic and English speaking is a strong asset
