• 6 years consultant experience in a Western hospital
• 6 years post‑specialist qualification experience from: UK – CCT, USA – American Board, Canada – Canadian Fellowship, Ireland – CSD/CSCST, Australia & New Zealand (Fellowship), France – DES/DESC, and other European countries according to licensing equivalence tables

• Salary:

• Gratuity: 1 month base salary per annum
• Contract Duration: 3 years renewable
• Accommodation:
  Provided or allowance of QR 8,000 per month for married; utilities allowance up to QR 600 per month if taking assigned accommodation
• Baggage allowance: 50 kg per person of unaccompanied baggage
• Flights:
  Business Class for family
• Leave: 50 days a year + local holidays (can be split)
• Education allowance: up to QR 21,000 per child (age 18) per annum
• Study leave: 9 days after 18 months service; flight costs & fees paid
• Medical cover:
  Company scheme at nominal fees for employee & dependents
• Annual increments based on performance appraisal
• Transport allowance: QR 1,000 per month
• Hours of work:
  Approx 7:00 am – 3:00 pm, Sunday to Thursday
• On‑call:
  As required within speciality
