The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {Electrification} in {Qatar}.

• Lead local finance teams to optimize financial performance within an assigned division / business area.
• Support effective business decisions by monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting financial data to evaluate various business alternatives.
• Recommend appropriate business solutions.
• Drive the definition and implementation of global standards and business specific guidelines to ensure continuous improvement in financial control within your area of responsibility.
• Provide guidance, and facilitate best practices to ensure alignment and consistency of controlling practices.
• Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality, and efficiency for your area of responsibility.
• Secure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures.
• Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and guidelines.
• Implement and ensure compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
• Ensure integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
• Accountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope.

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance or accounting is required.
• 5-8 years of experience in a related role.
• Combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated performance and results in the areas of business, finance, operational controlling and/or accounting.
• Strong cost planning knowledge and understanding of service accounting and revenue recognition.
• Hands on experience of working in SAP modules FI, CO, MM, PP, PS.
• Experience in CPA.
• Strong Microsoft Office/computer skills and expertise in APP reporting tools.
