Valmet is looking for a Senior Service Engineer to support our Flow Control customers in Qatar, Kuwait and North Africa. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality after-sales service and technical support, working closely with our local sales agents, authorized service partners (ASPs), and other Valmet offices across the Middle East and North Africa.

Qatar
- Manage the after-sales scope in Qatar, Kuwait, North Africa together with the existing service team, including shutdown services and proactive customer support.
- Travel to customer sites to resolve valve-related issues, conduct product training, commissioning, start-up, and troubleshooting.
- Support Authorized Service Partners and local partners with technical and commercial queries, ensuring fast and high-quality communication.
- Create sales opportunities through Life Cycle Service Plans and shutdown planning.
- Promote modernization and upgrade solutions for obsolete products.
- Review customer RFQs and POs, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
- Represent Valmet professionally and ethically in customer interactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to convey customer needs and feedback.
- Degree in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of service experience in the flow control market, with a focus on valves and pneumatic components.
- Strong customer-oriented mindset and experience in providing tailored solutions in the process industry.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken).
- Willingness to travel mainly across Qatar, Kuwait & North Africa and occasional travel to other Middle East countries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Valid driving license (Middle East license is an advantage).
