Description
We are seeking a highly experienced AV/ELV Systems Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of our venue's sophisticated Audio‑Visual (AV) and Extra‑Low Voltage (ELV) solutions.
This includes designing, sourcing, evaluating, and implementing systems tailored to our unique operational needs. You will lead projects from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless integration and functionality of all components.
A key part of this role involves conducting technical evaluations, risk assessments, and feasibility studies to guarantee system quality and reliability.
You will also provide expert operational support, develop maintenance procedures, and lead emergency response efforts for all AV/ELV systems.
This position requires a proactive problem‑solver with deep technical knowledge and proven project management skills, preferably within large‑scale event or sports venue environments.
Requirements- 8+ years of experience in AV/ELV system design and implementation.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.
- Strong, demonstrable knowledge of AV/ELV technologies, industry standards, and best practices.
- Proven project management experience, successfully overseeing AV/ELV projects from concept to completion.
- Experience with the full lifecycle of solution management: design, sourcing, implementation, and maintenance.
- Expertise in the integration of diverse AV/ELV components and systems to ensure seamless operation.
- Demonstrated ability in conducting technical evaluations, design validation, risk assessments, and feasibility studies.
- Experience in system commissioning, performance testing, and quality control processes.
- Direct experience with large‑scale AV/ELV projects in sports venues or similar large event environments.
- Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) certification or equivalent industry qualifications.
- Experience developing and implementing emergency response procedures for critical AV/ELV systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management and client‑facing communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously.
