Field Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with strong expertise in the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of LV/MV electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with switchboards, protection relays, transformers, and modern electrical test equipment‑preferably Schneider Electric technologies.

• Perform installation, operation, testing, and commissioning of LV and MV AIS/GIS switchboards, preferably Schneider Electric switchboards.
• Conduct testing of CTs, VTs, Circuit Breakers (CBs) and related power system components.
• Execute installation, testing, and commissioning of power transformers.
• Carry out functional tests, logic checks, and verification procedures for electrical protection systems.

• Diagnose and resolve issues in electromechanical and numerical protection relays, preferably Schneider Electric types such as Micom, Sepam, Tesys‑T, etc.
• Perform maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of circuit breakers and switchboards.
• Conduct electrical network fault finding and troubleshooting with strong analytical capability.

• Operate modern electrical testing tools such as Omicron test equipment (preferred).
• Utilize PLC logic understanding for testing, troubleshooting, and system improvement (added advantage).
• Maintain accurate documentation of test results, commissioning reports, and service activity logs.

• Ensure adherence to safety standards, company procedures, and industry best practices.
• Provide technical support and customer service at client sites.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to ensure seamless execution.

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering

• Experience with LV/MV AIS/GIS switchboards (Schneider Electric preferred)
• Testing experience for CT, VT, CB components
• Strong knowledge of electromechanical and numerical protection relays
• Hands‑on experience with transformer testing and commissioning
• Knowledge of PLC logic and systems (advantageous)
• Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of switchboards and circuit breakers
• Experience using modern test equipment (Omicron preferred)

• Proficiency in MS Windows & MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Familiarity with software related to test equipment and protection relay configuration
