Licensed Aircraft Engineer - Light Maintenance B1 & B2

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Aircraft Engineers who are immediately available to join our Light Base Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing, supervising, and certifying aircraft maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable flight operations.

Responsible to deliver aircraft Maintenance activities to directly support flight operations maintenance checks and duties within their authority as a Licensed Aircraft Engineer. To provide specialized knowledge skills and expertise and require ensuring safe, effective and efficient operation.

• Plan assigned activities in an effective and efficient manner, operate equipment or use tooling relative to assigned tasks within framework of organizational procedures.
• Reviews work procedures, standards and proposes improvements where procedures are not appropriate to ensure work processes are effective.
• Responsible for the final release of work accomplished by the Mechanics. Ensure tasks are performed to meet company/Customer standard and target such as dispatch reliability and level of acceptable deferred defects.
• Ensure delivery standard of customer products are met. Aircraft maintenance tasks are accomplished in accordance with laid down policies and procedures. Provide satisfactory support to internal and external customers.
• Implement solutions to technical problems within his range of his authority, and ensure that aircrafts or components serviceability standards are maintained to meet schedule requirements.
• Provide guidance and or on the job training to the Technicians and Aircraft Mechanics reporting to this position.
• When supervising the wok of others, ensuring that acceptable standard of workmanship and quality are maintained and the correct tools are employed to accomplish the task.
• Perform other department duties related to his / her position as directed by the Head of the Department.

• Assist in the response to any emergency or a major operational disruption affecting organization or its subsidiaries, including support of the organizational Special Assistance Program.
• Train Qatari staff in various duties as per business requirements

• Ensure full awareness of work health and safety requirements and expectations in order to minimize health and safety risks for self and colleagues.
• Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, security, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls across the operation to guarantee employee safety, security, legislative compliance, delivery of high quality service with a responsible environmental attitude.
• Take a direct and personal interest in reported injuries, incidents, near misses and hazards to ensure that appropriate reporting, investigation and response is being achieved.

• Contribute towards organizational objectives and targets and the implementation and maintenance of the Environmental Management System.
• Apply environmental knowledge and principles in your role, and incorporate this into business processes and decision making, to drive efficiencies and reduce environmental and operational risks.

• Diploma/Trade Qualification or Degree in Aircraft Maintenance/Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience on fleet types: A350, B777, B787.
• Company approval and authorization certificate
• Valid EASA approved aircraft maintenance license
• B1/B2 full approval.
• Certificate of release to service.
• Immediate availability (must be able to join immediately)

• Strong leadership, coaching, and workflow management skills.
• Team-oriented, with strong communication and customer service approach.
• Ability to work effectively under time-critical and high-technical environments.
